Wednesday, 7 pm - 9m EDT.

Please join us as we open Ocean Mind Sangha’s Fall Ango. This is the first of several ango events taking place this Fall. We’ll begin with a session of silent meditation (zazen), followed by a talk and the shuso or chief disciple installation ceremony. Brian Ryusan Pontolilo will be our shuso, guiding us with his practice and example. Come ready to connect and to commit.

7:00 pm Be seated in the zendo
7:05 pm Beginning of zazen
8:00 pm End of zazen and break
8:05 pm Ango Opening Ceremony
9:00 pm Closing Chant

Take a look here for a full description of ango and the Ango Events schedule.
Ango is open to all who have already cultivated a consistent sitting practice and have the aspiration to deepen it in some way. The cost for this event is included in your ango registration, and you’re always welcome to offer a donation.

Your generous dana supports the operations of the Ocean Mind Sangha and makes it possible for us to offer event scholarships for those who need them.

Thank you for your practice and support. We look forward to sitting with you.
