Tonglen and Lojong Practice with Lama Yeshe III (7–9 pm EST)

Wednesdays, November 5, 12 & 19
7 PM–9 PM EST

Tonglen—literally ‘sending and taking’—is a meditation that cultivates an open-hearted welcome of our experience just as it is. One of the most vibrant practices in the Buddhist tradition, tonglen can bring clarity, resilience, and compassion to even the most challenging circumstances of our lives.

In this three-part series, Lama Yeshe will situate tonglen within the fuller framework of lojong (mind training), drawing from her translation of Chekawa Yeshe Dorje’s Seven Points for Healing Dualistic Mind. When we understand tonglen in the context of this broader training, the practice reveals renewed vitality, richness, and depth. Lojong’s instructions expand our perspective, helping us transform adversity into the very path of awakening and deepen our trust in our innate buddhanature.

Each session will weave together teaching, guided practice, and time for questions and discussion. Open to all levels of experience.
